Over the past few days I have been staying with my Gran. We went to this quaint village nestled in between a MASSIVE Tesco's and a MASSIVE Waitroe's. Fact.

 When we were there we went to the uber amazing antique's store and looked around for a while.

 After what felt like 2 seconds I found this completely awesome thing {Pictured above and below, and everywhere else}

 At first I thought it was just a vintage suitcase, there 'all the rage' right now so I assumed that the shop owner had been lucky and found one!

 I was wrong. Inside was a wonderful 1920's miniature sewing machine. No photo's of it yet, but I SHALL upload some when I get the chance!

 It works as well, I would have brought it anyway but it is a bonus, as I really need a sewing machine!

 Once I had found that treasure, I was set on finding more. So, once I had put my first find onto the counter, so that no one else snaffled it up, I delved once again into the pool of antiquities.

 This time I found a whole host of postcards. They had all been written on and I love them so much.

 Being my extremely nosey self I couldn't help but imagine all of the story's behind the prim and proper note cards and the doting postcards.

 I love them and would never dream of parting with them, but if you are interested in the sewing machine please leave a comment below :)

Lets go on an adventure.

 The sun was out for once so I decided to take a trip out doors.

Hey. I didn't post yesterday because I is lazy fo' sizzle. And I am a poo. SO if you live in England you probably know that well, summer still hasn't come. At all. Literally and seeing as it is past the summer solstice ALREADY  meaning that the planets are now going in a different formational route... {inner nerd.} and therefore the days for the northern hemisphere are getting shorter. FML. I was trying to think of summery stuff to put in this post, to lift our moods. This is what I came up with. Glamping.

I want to go. NOW.

Thinking about Glamping made me remember a dream that I have had since I was very young. To live in a place like the one featured in the film Swallows and Amazons! Remote, picturesque and with a few good chums. .... I wrote this...badly...

Some days we rambled. Walking for miles and miles, stopping for a picnic by the stream, catching butterfly's and drinking ginger beer. On other days we would spend our time rowing around the vast expanse of water at the bottom of our garden, pretending that we were exploring the Amazon rainforest in a canoe. We would set up camp and build  a fire, roasting chestnuts and frying potatoes in the dancing flames. When we slept it was warm, the cool summer breezes whipping the trees and leaves singing us to sleep. We still have the house. With its grey arch ways and turrets. With its un-opened trunks in the attic and its creamy blue mosaic fountain. We haven't been back for a while, but we will. We will go and be explorers again, traipsing through the wilderness. However, this time with I-phones to guide us back to our warm sitting room; and television instead of board games. In a way its sad that everything has changed, sad that it will never really be the same. But, as they say, all change is for the better.

Hey, so I discovered this girl, I think that she is from Poland whilst dailyboothing. She is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. All of her work is fabulous and she is really nice too! Whimsical Weekends.

So, as I am sure you can tell, at this moment of post it is not actually a weekend, {whimsical or not.} So, your "little grey cells" are probably wiring, trying to find the meaning of this somewhat premature/late post. The truth of the matter is, this post was actually meant for last weekend, {I would like to share my "whimsical weekends" with you each and every week.} However, due to unforeseen circumstances it was not published on that day. {How many times have I said that??!}

On Saturday I went to a sublime pic nic with some friends in the bitter frostbiting cold. We all took off are jumpers, coats, scarves and other warm clothing and did yoga.

Outside at last.

Hello.
So today it was holiday again, and I spent most of the ridiculously sunny day with my friend Alice, we went round looking for places to take photo's for look book {later in there will be a post dedicated to look book, so you will understand in a few days} And in hindsight I think that really I need some more clothes before attempting it again, and really we should have, rather than just going to the normal places, gone a little further a field and ended up at this really cool sign. But oh well.... there is all ways next time. Anyway, here is a photo of the days ramblings.

Its half term, finally and as you do when freedom in abundance comes your way, you seize it by both of its antlers and use it for the best, and worst of things. Today was very interesting indeed, half term started a while back and therefore the freedom was already held hostage. We decided at first that we wanted to film a music video as it seemed like a useful time filler as well as an amusing one, so, we set out on quest "FIND A FIELD". This is really not hard when you live in the English countyside. The hard part however is finding one without some angry horse residing in it. Or for that matter and angry farmer! Anyway after approximately half an hour of searching we gave up, which was a little bit of a mistake, my friend Alice will continue....!

BUT what we did come across was a slightly, or perhaps a VERY muddy river, in which we decided to build a bridge. Unfortunately only one of us had wellies, and those wellies, lets just say were not water tight! In my opinion our bridge/pile of twigs and bricks, went very well.... right up to the point when we decided to test it! Luna set of across the poorly built bridge, until she, quite hilariously, fell in! While me and our other companion cracked up laughing, Luna made her undignified way back up the slope! I didn't laugh for long however because I while collecting worm covered bricks further up the river, also partly fell in! SO, for all you bridge builders out there, here is a little tip.... DON'T BUILD A BRIDGE IN A RIVER!

Easter, day 6

To day we went on a relatively long walk and then ate a fabulous picnic! Unfortunately however, I forgot my camera....but I took some of it home anyway! Also it was Easter so I couldn't resist snapping a little chocolate!

P.s I found this surrealy cool locket watch, its a glistening turtle locket at first, you open it and HEY PRESTO you can tell the time on a beautiful clock face.
